Solvitose®
High quality cold water soluble starches
A high-quality range of cold water soluble starches, produced using drum-drying technology. Based on carboxymethylated and hydroxypropylated starch, these products are well suited for applications such as wallpaper adhesives, rheology modification and water retention in cement and gypsum mortars and plasters.
Cement is the most used construction material within a range of applications. A key part of standard dry mortar is cellulose ether. Avebe’s starch ether additives in combination with cellulose ether take those existing benefits – and add further functionality.
