Wet potato fibres are a high-energy feed ingredient with a high level of rumen undegradable starch, making them particularly valuable in dairy cattle diets where they contribute to increased milk protein content. As a seasonal product available from August through May in the Netherlands and northern Germany, they offer a cost-effective alternative to feed concentrates during the campaign period.
